After scrolling into search results I am unable to select one to play.

After getting a results list from a search I am unable to get any result to play. Pushing the centre button causes an audible click and the result tile pops but nothing else happens. I.e. it doesn't start playing. How do I selecr a result to play?

Hey there Scott,
 
You should be able to open the apps by pressing the center button on your Chromecast Voice Remote, so you are doing it right. Let me ask you some questions to see what's causing the issue:
 
When did the issue start/did it ever work?
 
For now, I would clear out your app data, here are the steps:
 
  1. From the Google TV home screen, in the top right, go to the profile icon and select Settings.
  2. Select Apps  See all apps.
  3. Find and select the app  Clear data.
If the issue is still occurring after that, go ahead and factory reset your Chromecast with Google TV:
  1. From the Google TV home screen, in the top right, go to the profile icon and select Settings.
  2. Select System  About  Factory reset.
