Atmos on Netflix using Chromecast with Google TV

I am successfully getting Atmos to work on all apps except Netflix. I have the Netflix Premium UltraHD plan, and am getting 4K video, but only 5.1 audio on movies and shows that should support Atmos.

Atmos works on various shows on Disney+, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, HBOMax, but not on Netflix shows.

I am using the Chromecast with Google TV dongle connected to my Pioneer LX503 AV receiver, which is connected to my LG B17 TV. I've tried restarting the Netflix app, and restarting the Google TV device.

A quick search around the internet will reveal that this is an ongoing Netflix issue across a lot of different devices. Contact Netflix support.

I've done lots of searching and haven't seen anything about a general Atmos outage on Netflix. Can you provide a link?

Hey there Scott_DeToffol,

Were you able to contact Netflix about this issue, or were you able to get Atmos working again?

Just checking up,
Jeran
