Audio is out of sync with video while watching programs in the Live category. "Library" audio is ok

We have Chromecast with Google TV connected to our TV via an hardwired internet connection.  In the last month or so the audio is out of sync with the video while watching programs in the "live" category.  While watch from the "library" the audio and video are in sync.

We have unplugged the Google TV device to restart it and the issue remains after.

Can anyone tell us how to fix this issue?  Thanks

I am also having same issue. Only work around is to switch tv audio setting to PCM from bistream. But then you lose out on 5.1 by doing so.

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Chromecast. Let's sort this out.

 

Quick questions: have you checked if this is also happening with other supported apps? Have you tried if the same issue persists when casting from your phone to the TV?

 

Give theses steps a try:

 

  1. Stop playing the video then try again.
  2. Close and relaunch the program in the live category.
  3. Reboot your router.
  4. Reboot your Chromecast.
  5. Reset your Chromecast.
