Audio issues with chromecast

I have a weird issue with the audio playing. It’s happening with every streaming app except for Stan and YouTube. It’s a weird high pitched noise as if I’m watching it in 2.0x speed or something. The only way the audio does work (what I’ve found with Disney+) is if it’s in English [Audio Description] or Deutsch. Has anyone else had this issue and if so how have you fixed it? 
This is a new chromecast that I’ve bought about a week or two ago because I had the same problem with my old one.

Also, forgot to mention that there are some shows where the audio works perfectly fine but others within the same app do not and it’s only with the chromecast.

  • What is the firmware version of your Chromecast?
  • What version of Google Home are you using?
  • Do you have a soundbar connected to your TV?
  • Are you able to re-create this issue on another TV?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
