I've had 2nd gen Chromecasts for a while now and just got a CCWGT. Over the last couple weeks (December 2021) we started noticing audio was auto leveling. We didn't change anything in our setup. Has anyone else noticed this and have a fix for it? I have noticed this on CCWGTV with digit audio to sound bar, gen 2 CC direct to TV speakers and CC Ultra hooked up to a denon reviewer with all TV and audio equipment with auto leveling disabled.

First, disable auto volume leveling on your TV.
Chromecast with Google TV doesn't offer any settings for volume leveling or dynamic range compression.
I urge you to send feedback to Google via Google Home application, as I already done that and I also opened a thread about this on this community.

Volume leveling is not an issue unless the audio stream (like multichannel Dolby Digital) has embedded values for dialog normalisation, thus triggering dynamic range compression algorithm.
That the reason I requested additional sound settings option to be able to manually disable dynamic range compression algorithm.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll submit feedback from the Home app. As for disabling auto volume, I did ensure it was disabled before posting. Auto leveling was never an issue until a few weeks ago. I haven't seen settings for it either so wasn't sure what has happened.
