Blaupunkt TV

When installing the Chromecast TV on a Blaupunkt 32" LED TV 32/148O, i can't get the Remote working?
Blaupunkt is not a product listed among the numerous TV's in the setuplist.
I have enabled the CEC on the television and on ChromeCast
I have tried with Grundig and Toshiba - as suggested in this thread (and numerous other):

Nothing works? Any suggestions besides trying all the other TV's? 🙂

I actually made it work, by choosing Chromecast instead of CEC in the Sound.
I set the TV to 100% sound, and im ajusting the input to the TV from Chromecast.
Not the most elegant solution, but i works. 🙂

Be aware that if your TV is connected to an AV receiver or soundbar, setting up the volume button to control the Chromecast audio output signal will render the surround sound inoperative.

It's not mandatory to use the IR beam to control your TV.

Chromecast with Google TV hardware remote works with Bluetooth and can control your Blaupunkt TV via CEC protocol. You just have to endure the CEC protocol is enabled both in the TV and on the Chromecast device.

Alternatively, you can contact Blaupunkt support and ask for a compatible TV brand remote code.

I have enabled CEC on both devices.

I have contacted Blaupunkt support, an the will call back. I'm not sure, they ever will...

If you have sent an email to Blaupunkt support, they will respond.

Now, that you enabled CEC protocol on both devices, navigate to the remote and accessories section and setup the power, volume and source buttons to use the CEC protocol.

Note that not all TV models support source switching via CEC protocol.

It's in the TV'S menu, so it should be supported. The on/of button works.

Hey there!

It looks like OleM was able to resolve the issue, and it's been a few days, so I'm locking the thread. As always, feel free to make a new thread if you have any more questions or concerns.

Thank you for your help, djtetei!
