Bluetooth for kids profile

I got the brand new Chromecast with Google TV. In my profile, I can connect a Bluetooth device as an accessory, but in the kids profile under settings, there is no button to pair accessories.

How do I connect my kids Bluetooth headphones to use with the kids profile?

Hiya ahz000,

 

Welcome to the Chromecast Community Forum! At this point in time, Kid's Profiles are unable to add Bluetooth devices. So, if you would like to have headphones connected through Bluetooth, you'd first need to connect the headphones in an Adult profile, then it should work properly across profiles.

So, if you would like to have headphones connected through Bluetooth, you'd first need to connect the headphones in an Adult profile, then it should work properly across profiles.

Yes, I confirm this worked. While I would like my kids to have the option, this works for now

I'm glad that work-around worked for you! If you would like, I'd encourage you to submit feedback via Google TV to let Google know that you'd like to see that feature available to Kid's accounts in the future. In the meantime, did you have any other questions or concerns?
