Hello @RJK1123

Thank You, You may not have granted Sky Go permission to access Bluetooth and your Local Network. Streaming applications such as Sky Go rely on Bluetooth access to be able to detect Chromecast devices on the same network.

  1. On your phone, open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Apps & notifications.
  3. Tap the app you want to change. If you can't find it, first tap See all apps or App info.
  4. Tap Permissions.
    • If you allowed or denied any permissions for the app, you’ll find them here.
  5. To change a permission setting, tap it, then choose Allow or Deny.

Thank You

Hello @RJK1123

Welcome to Google Chrome Cast Community.

Please share more Detail about your Question, Open the Sky Go app on your tablet or smartphone. At the top right of the app, you'll see the Chromecast icon which looks like a little TV. Select the icon. If you aren't already, you'll be prompted to connect to your Chromecast

Thanks for your reply, that is what I expected.

I can connect to You Tube/Spotify Etc from my tablet, but when on Sky Go, I cannot see the Chromecast Icon anywhere so cannot get from tablet to TV

Hello @RJK1123

Your tv was working on WIFI? Update the Sky Go app on your mobile device. Make sure both your device and Chromecast are on the same Wifi network.

  1. Update the Sky Go app on your mobile device.
  2. Make sure both your device and Chromecast are on the same Wifi network.
  3. Open the Sky Go app and tap the casting icon (it looks like a TV)
  4. Watch Sky Go on your Chromecast.
