Can I use both a remote and phone app with a chromecast? Not sure generation.

I am sorry about the late response on this thread, thank you for being patient! Were you able to find the answer to your remote question? If not, I'd be happy to help out, since I know it can be difficult to find a clear answer online. So, both the Chromecast Voice Remote and the Google TV Virtual Remote only work with Google TV, with the Chromecast Voice Remote only working with the Chromecast with Google TV in particular, while the Virtual Remote works with all Google TVs.
