Chromecast Audio Cast firmware: 1.42.172094
I cast using Spotify from a pixel 3a running Android 12.
Used to work perfectly until a couple of weeks ago.
Now when I cast it will only play for a minute or two (sometimes even less) before stopping.
Any ideas welcome. I've tried a factory reset but it didn't resolve the issue.

I can cast to other devices from my phone without issue so it does feel like the Chromecast Audio is at fault.

Hey there Danniedorko,
I am real sorry about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that Audio issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, since I know that these issues are a bit hard to troubleshoot alone. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:
I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran

Hi,
Thanks for offering to help.
My Google home app is version 2.47.1.10.
It only occurs on Spotify, but that's the only app I have to cast audio. Same phone and same Spotify account will cast to a Google home mini just fine.
The LED remains white at all times - when playing at at the moment it stops playing, and after that too.
I have already tried a factory reset of the Chromecast Audio.
Thanks again.

Of course! Just to double-check as well, what is the firmware version of your Chromecast Audio?
For now, based on what you said, it leads me to believe there may either be a connection issue with your Wi-Fi network, or may an issue with Spotify connecting with your Chromecast Audio. First, what I would recommend is that you check out this article on troubleshooting your Chromecast connection, as it has some steps to help optimize your Chromecast's connectivity.
Go ahead and give that troubleshooting a try, and if you still have issues, we can dig a little deeper.
Best regards,
Jeran
