Can't connect to wi-fi

mel1976

I had previously set up my chromecast with nil issues however late last year I had switched off my TV and chromecast for a couple of months.  A month ago I tried to reconnect it to my tv however I keep getting a "Cant connect to wifi" message, I have rebooted, disconnected and reconnected both the wi-fi my android and restarted my router. I have double checked my wifi settings on my TV and android however I still keep getting this message. Please help, how can I fix this problem.

Hi mel1976,

Thanks for posting. Let's sort this out..

Quick question — were there any recent changes to the network? Please try to reboot the Chromecast device and uninstall and reinstall the Google Home. If the same issue persists, please do a factory reset on your Chromecast and set up again.

Thanks,

Jennifer
