Can't control LG TV volume using Chromecast anymore

Over the last few weeks, I have been unable to use voice commands through my Chromecast Gen 3 device to change the volume of my LG TV.  Everything is up to date.  I usually say, "Ask LG to change volume to 10."  This has worked for years until now.  I have tried all sorts of variations of this command, including  "Ask LG to change TV volume to 10, "  "Ask LG to change Living Room TV volume to 10,"  and "TV volume 10."  Instead of getting LG, it just changes the volume on the Mini speaker.  The only way I can get it to work is by first saying, "Get LG," and then using a second command to set TV volume.  This is extremely frustrating and inefficient.  I have a physical disability and rely on voice access, but  Chromecast seems to keep getting buggier.  Please help!

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear about that. Please reboot your Chromecast and Google Home Mini, then command to sync your devices. Once done, use this voice command to control the TV "Okay Google, set the volume on the Living room TV to 10" or "increase volume of Living Room TV by 10%".

It's been working very sporadically when I say "Tel LG volume 10 TV." It still gets it wrong most of the time, but I am so nervous about resetting because I always have so much trouble getting it to link.
