Can't delete neighbors devices from available devices list on Android phone

My android notifies me 2, 3, even 4 times a day tho t it is casting to "bedroom tv" or "Rob's bedroom speakers". I find this rather odd, because I'm not casting ANYTHING. Also, I don't, and never have, owned a "bedroom tv" and I have no idea who Rob is or when I would have connected to his speakers.

There are at least 4 other personally named devices on the list of available devices that I don't (and never have) own. Nor have I ever used the "cast screen" option on this android phone.

If I was able to, somehow, delete this list I would be a happy woman. But, alas, this is not possible.

Google knows this is a problem. I have asked them before. No solution. No response. No recourse for the invasion of my privacy and FORCING a connection I never asked for.

If anyone knows how I can clear the "Chromecast available devices" without having to knock on all my neighbors doors to reboot THEIR devices, please, THROW ME A BONE!!

Are you on the same WiFi network as your neighbor?   That's the only way that you would get notified of casting events.

If you have your own WiFi network, contact your internet provider and get them to help you change your password to kick them off your network.

If you have to share a network, then you can turn off the notifications this way:

I will definitely check into that.  it's my brothers wifi and there shouldn't be anyone except the family using it.

Thank you!
