Casting Screen in Google Home APP from iPhone

JMack

I am trying to use the Google Home app to chromecast my iphone's screen to a TV. While searching for answers, I saw that some users had a "CAST MY SCREEN" button in the corner of their chromecast window. I tried updating the chromecast firmware through a factory reset, and have the most recent update of google home.  but i still do not have that button.

Is this button not there because I am using an iphone?

Currently there is no native support on iOS for screen mirroring on Android devices, Chromecast included.

However, you can screen mirror your iPhone screen using a third-party screen mirroring application.
