Changing wifi on chromecast

Tara1

I recently changed wifi router and I can't connect my chromecast. I know I need my phone connected to the same WiFi as the chromecast but it has been disconnected. How else can I do it?

If you changed your WiFi, your Chromecast device will try to go to the old network, won't be able to, and kick itself into setup mode to ask you for help (the light on it will be flashing white).

Just do the setup steps again using the Google Home app to teach it the new network:
