Chrome cast stuck on screen saver

I was watching discovery plus on my chrome cast and my toddler took the remote. He pushed some buttons and now it’s locked on the screen saver and I can’t undo it.

Hi rteumer,

Thanks for reaching out. Please reboot your Chromecast and if your device is a Chromecast with Google TV, please remove the batteries on the Chromecast Voice Remote and put it back after 2 minutes, then try again.
