I have a chrome cast (v2). It has always worked no problems for me. Suddenly it has disconnected from my google home app and I cannot get it to reconnect. It is flashing orange and white which indicates an update. However it has now been doing this for over a week. I have tried numerous times over the past few days to reset it and I do everything right, but every time it goes back to blinking orange and white.

Thanks for reaching out. To confirm, is your device a Chromecast 2nd Gen? What can you see on your TV screen? In the meantime, please make sure your device is closer to the router and you have a stable and strong Wi-Fi connection. If the issue persists, please unplug it and plug it back in after 24 hours and reboot your Wi-Fi router.
