Chromecast 2 cast firmware version: 1.56275994 no longer works on casting a video

I had the same firmware... it is booting fine, only if video is casted from youtube, etc... we can't see except cutting pixelated cutting distorted video... we tried to reset, changing HDMI port same story... 

it was working fine, and that is happened suddenly upon watching a video on youtube...

Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the late response. Let's sort this out.

A few questions — are you casting directly from the YouTube app or via Chrome browser? Have you tried to use a different mobile phone? Also, have you tried to cast videos from a different Chromecast-enabled apps? 

Give these steps a try:

1. Uninstall and reinstall the YouTube app.
2. Disconnect from Chromecast, then recast.
3. On the casting device, toggle Wi-Fi off and then on.
4. Close any resource intensive apps that are open.
5. Turn off power saving mode.
6. Check the proximity of the TV, casting device, and WiFi router.
7. Use a different mobile phone.
8. Reboot your Chromecast and WiFi router.
