Chromecast 4k & HD vs IOS

Luk

Hi. I would like to ask which version of the device will work better with IOS (phones only)?

Are both the 4k and HD versions have Apple's airplay and are equally compatible with their devices?

Thank you for your support! 🙂

Both models work just the same with iOS devices. Neither model has AirPlay as that is an Apple proprietary technology. Chromecast is a Google product that supports casting, not AirPlay. Similar technologies but not exactly the same.

AirPlay only works with Apple devices.

Casting works with Apple and Android phones or tablets using Chromecast compatible apps. On Chromecast with Google TV models you can also install apps on the Chromecast itself.
