Chromecast Audio issue

LudwikMazurek

Hi!
I have constant issues with chromecast audio. I have 3 of them plugged in in 3 different audio systems around a house. Mostly I am listening to music on my main system with wiim mini streamer but from time to time I want to move tidal to my chromecast audio upstairs. I have asus aimesh around a house and excellent wifi strenth. I have also binded chromecasts to upstaris router for stable connection.
Unfortunately from time to time tidal wont connect to Chromecasts audio. I need to restore Chromecast then, again install them and rejoin to rooms and home in home app. It is very irritating. After all that fresh installation it works for a while. And after few days or a week everything is happeing again. And so on.
Please help me.

Hey there LudwikMazurek,

Awesome, I'm glad to hear that you got it working! It's a possibility that if there are a few walls and floors between the router and the Chromecast Audios, the 2.4GHz network band may have had issues. In the meantime, did you have any other questions? If not, I'll go ahead and lock the thread in 24 hours.

Best regards,

Jeran

Hey there LudwikMazurek,

I'm sorry to hear that your Chromecast Audio and the Tidal app aren't playing nicely. I'd be happy to help you look into this, as I imagine your current workaround is a pain. First, I follow the steps listed in this article to be safe. Then, I would see if this problem persists across other apps, such as YouTube or Spotify. That way, we can narrow down the potential cause a bit more.

I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!

Best regards,
Jeran

yes. I didnt get Your earlier reply. The issue is not limited to tidal. It is the same with other app.

Hey there LudwikMazurek,

No problem at all! When this issue occurs on that Chromecast Audio, what is the status of the LED light on the device? If the device is throwing an error, it would appear there. Check out that article I linked, and it should provide some insight.

Best regards,
Jeran
