Hi there. When connecting my Chromecast I get the message on my phone: “Chromecast is possibly configured, but we could not communicate with the device from your IPhone. Make sure that you activated local network access in your settings on your iPhone. Then try again.”
I have activated the local network access.
I have tried from several different IPhones but with the same result. Can anyone help?:-)

Hey there Von_Strelitz,
I'm sorry to hear that your Chromecast is having some connection issues! Dealing with networking problems can be tricky, so I'd be happy to help you out. The first thing I would recommend is that you follow the steps listed in this article. If that doesn't resolve the issue, go ahead and follow the steps listed in this article as well.
I look forward to your response on this! If you run into any more issues, or have additional questions, please feel free to let me know.
Best regards,
Jeran

Hi there,
It's us again. We want to make sure you're all good — how did the steps go? If you're still having trouble setting up your Chromecast, you may also try manually connecting to the Chromecast SSID. Here's how: Here's how: Go to the phone settings > Open Wi-Fi and connect to the Chromecast SSID (Example: Chromecast1234, Living Room TV, Bedroom TV, etc.) > Go to the Google Home app and try to set up again.
Thanks for the help, Jeran.
Regards,
Jennifer
