Chromecast TV - Developer Mode - Stay Awake - Reverts to home screen

Hello,

I have setup 2 Chromecast dongles in dev mode to stay awake in order to run a digital screenage app called Screencloud. The app is in sticky mode, and the digital monitors they are attached too are also 'always on'. However, despite my best efforts to keep them on all the time, every night they revert back to the homescreen or go into some kind of standby mode, as told by the client. I have not seen it myself.

He has to activate the app every morning when he comes in.

Has anyone had any issues like this, or know of a way to keep it from dropping out of the app?
