Chromecast With Google TV no HDMI signal

I've had my Chromecast With Google TV for a while, today suddenly my TV shows no HDMI signal, I connected my TV to another device with HDMI and it's working with no problems, I rebooted my Chromecast and tried different HDMI ports, I can see my Chromecast from my phone and I can cast to it, but of course no picture on the TV.

Hey there KDshow,

I apologize about the late response, thank you for your patience! Were you able to fix that HDMI issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I know this issue can be frustrating. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

  • What model of TV are you using?
  • What color is the LED light on the Chromecast?
  • Are you using an AVR?
  • Are you able to test the Chromecast on another TV or screen?

Depending on what LED light the Chromecast shows, we can try a few different troubleshooting steps. I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!

Best regards,
Jeran

I bought a new one. The old one might have a problem with the HDMI connection, as I see the 2 pins on the left look like not there compared to the new one

No Jennifer, it is not working, I said that I found that the HDMI connection has a pin problem, seems one pin is pushed inside, I will try to cut the HDMI cable and replace it and see if it works
