Chromecast audio software version?

Google website lists 1.42.172094 as the latest version for Chromecast Audio firmware but Google Home reports 1.56.281627 as the cast firmware for my Chromecast Audio. My firmware seems a later version than the Google website. What is the latest version for Chromecast Audio firmware? And if it is more recent than the one I have, where can I get it?

I noticed the same, obviously CCA received an update in Nov 2021 and that Google website wasn't updated.

Another CCA I bought used this week updated from 1.42.xxx to 1.56.281627 just minutes after i set it up. And my Sony speaker from 2015 with Cast Built-in also received a firmware update after all those years with the website stating "IMPORTANT:This firmware update must be performed to keep using the Chromecast built-in music distribution service."

I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! At this point in time, the latest firmware version is 1.56.281627. Regarding updating the Chromecast Audio, this is done automatically as part of setup, so there's nothing you need to do to receive the update.
