Chromecast casting only audio

Hi everyone 

I managed to cast my android devices on a TV (sharp) however once I connect my chromecast device to another TV with same brand,  I only have the audio but not the video . Do you have any idea why this happens?  Thanks

Thanks for reaching out. Let's sort this out.

 

A few questions: How far is the Chromecast from the router? How far are you from the TV when they try to cast? Is the internet connection stable?

 

Give these steps a try:

 

  1. Check the proximity of the TV to the mobile device (phone, tablet, or computer), and Wi-Fi router.
  2. Reboot the Chromecast, mobile device, and router.
  3. Disconnect and reconnect the casting device from the Wi-Fi network.
  4. Plug in the Chromecast into a different HDMI port on your TV.
  5. Perform a factory reset.
