Chromecast constantly has to be reset

The 'Web Browser' label isn't really accurate but nothing else was appropriate.  I have Google Fiber and a Google modem/router and 3 2nd Gen Chromecasts in my small (1500 sqft) home.  Two of the Chromecasts work fine, connecting to YouTube TV and allowing a show/movie to stream immediately.  One of them is hit or miss.

What happens is that it is often being unable to connect (just a spinning circle) when actually trying to start a show in YouTube TV or Prime Video.  I then have to restart or sometimes a complete removal from the Google Home app, factory reset, then adding to the Home once again...that USUALLY works but sometimes have to factory reset a second time the same evening.  The Chromecast is plugged into a power strip and does NOT get power from the tv's usb port.  The tv is an older LG but I wouldn't expect that to make any difference.  I have tried swapping the Chromecast from one of the other tv's but it hasn't made any difference.

Any suggestions?

I was able to connect with Chromecast Support and they suggested checking for updates (it was already current) and to remove and re-add the YouTube and Prime Video apps.  I've done this and it appears to be working.  Fingers crossed!
