I have the same problem. Reset my router multiple times, unplugged everything, plugged back in, even deleted the cast devices from Google Home and added them back and still can’t get them to work.

Hey folks,

Thanks for sharing details about the issue here. I appreciate @Dianahemes for helping here. I know how challenging it is when your Chromecast device keeps on disconnecting to the network. Let's try to get to the bottom of this.

  • What type of Chromecast device do you have?
  • How far is your Chromecast from your router?
  • Are you using a dual-band router?
  • What is the make and model of your router?

Please make sure that your Chromecast device is within 15-20 feat away from the router to get a better network signal. If it's still the same, try setting up your device using a mobile hotspot. Please note that you will need two mobile devices for this setup (one will serve as a router and the other to be used to set up your Chromecast).

Looking forward to your response.

Cheers,

Muddi
