Hey there arevashe,
I'm sorry to hear that your Chromecast is having some connection issues! I can imagine this has been pretty frustrating, so I'd be happy to help out! First, what color is the LED light on the Chromecast? This may point out an error if the Chromecast is having one. If the LED light looks good, then go ahead and follow the steps listed in this article.
I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran

Yes. The device is showing pulsing whitelight after the factory reset. However, i am not able to discover the device from my iOS Google Home app.

Hi folks,
Thanks for the help here, Jeran.
arevashe, I'm sorry to hear that you're still having trouble setting up your Chromecast. To cover all the bases, please manually connect to the Chromecast SSID. Here's how: Go to the phone Settings > Open Wi-Fi and connect to the Chromecast SSID (Example: Chromecast1234, Living Room TV, Bedroom TV, etc.) > Go to the Google Home app and try to set up again. also, please make sure the Bluetooth and Local network access on your phone is enabled.
Regards,
Jennifer
