Hello,
I am looking at implementing Chromecast for my entire school. We are BYOD so teachers and students use any device they want. The goal will be to have everyone cast their laptop screen and audio onto a projector. Note, I am open to buying any version of Chromecast that will work for my situation.
A few questions:
1. Can Macs cast their audio? This website suggests it is only for windows (Link)
2. Will Chromecast work well with a projector? Some reviews are saying it isn't built for a projector. Does that mean it will not work well for one?
3. I have never used a Chromecast and all of the interfaces I have seen with it are meant for personal TV viewing (shows and movies, etc). I don't want students to be distracted by all these movie titles and pictures every time a teacher turns on their projector. Is there a way to have a blank screen until screen casting has started?
Thanks!
Kelvin
