I have two smart TV's with integral Chromecast, both of which can communicate with my iPhone via Chromecast when playing Youtube.
However, having recently subscribed to Medici TV I have had problems. To start with, I could cast Medici to one TV but not the other. Now Medici won't cast to either, even though the Chromecast icon is displayed. Youtube still works.
I should add that being in a fairly remote location, the wi-fi signal is rather poor, so could that be the issue?
Would buying a Chromecast plug-in dongle help?
I have contacted Medici who tell me that all is okay from their side.

Hello Martin909,
Thanks for reaching out to the Chromecast Community! You can try to buy a separate Chromecast device to isolate the issue. However, in the meantime, please clear the cache and data of the Medici TV app then, uninstall and reinstall it. Using a different mobile phone and rebooting your TV with Chromecast-built in and Wi-Fi router might also help.
If the issue persists, perform a factory reset on your TV. If you're not familiar with how to do it, contact your TV manufacturer for further help.
Regards,
Jennifer
