Since latest update our Chromecast 3rd gen is no longer compatible with tv as it isn't 1080p. Is there anyway around this?

Thanks for reaching out. To clarify, is your Chromecast not working or you're just having an issue with the video quality? If the issue is with the video quality, please reboot your Chromecast and Wi-Fi router. Also, try to use the Chromecast with another TV or High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) display, if possible.
