Chromecast not connecting to my wifi

MyzTeka

My chromecast keeps trying to connect to "dining room t.v b" which isn't my wifi connection.  This interferes with the connection every time its trying to recognise my WiFi.  The "dining room t.v b" is a Google connection as well can you tell me what's going on?

The wifi name sounds like a Chromecast in setup mode, do you have another Chromecast that is not yet setup? Perhaps your tv has Chromecast built in and isn't setup yet?  If so, unplug it and set them up one at a time, this will ensure no wild signals interfere with the process.
