Chromecast not showing when I'm connected to the same WiFi network :(

My Chromecast is all set up but it won't register that it's connected to the same Wi-Fi network. I'm using a Nokia FastMile Gateway with Optus.

I am  having the same issues here, i went from optus 4g huawei router to their nokia 5g router and i cannot get the chromecast working on the 5g router. I have found multiple threads about this but none of the solutions seem to work

I apologize about the late response on this, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that connection issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I know network issues can be tricky to troubleshoot on your own. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:
 

  • When did this issue start happening?
  • What is the firmware version of your Chromecast?
  • Have you already seen this article on connection issues?
  • What color is the LED light on the Chromecast?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
