My chromecast would cut off in the middle of shows. It required rebooting at least once every two days. This morning it would not connect to my phone, and now the cast signal is not coming up

Have you downloaded a lot of apps? Maybe it's impacting the memory so it might be affecting the way it plays.
Sorry, I haven't experienced that on my device.
