I have a new Chromecast Google TV and connected this to my Panasonic Viera TV (4K).
When I start the Chromecast after I have switched on my TV, all is good and working. When I have switched off the TV and switch it back on, I see the display for a second twice, and after that a black screen. Audio is working, so the Chromecast is connect and well. Just nothing on the TV: black screen.
I have already followed the instruction given in other threads:
Can you please help? So I don't have to unplug and plug the Chromecast in every time I want to use it.
Thanks

Hey there Shermski,
I am sorry to hear that your Chromecast is having a black screen issue! I know this can be tricky to troubleshoot, so I'd be happy to help out. The first thing I would recommend is reading this article, and follow the steps listed in order.
I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran

Hi Jeran,
The article you forwarded I did find earlier and I followed these steps to no avail.
I don't have another TV to test it with, but I have tried on different HDMI input ports on the TV. But the same result every time. I have also tried to change the resolution settings on the Google TV settings, but also no difference.
I hope there is some other way to get this working!

Hi folks,
@Jeran, thanks for the help.
@Shermski, that certainly hasn't been easy for you ― can you tell me exactly what's the status of the LED light from your Chromecast with Google TV? Is this the first time this has happened or constantly?
Since you have already followed the steps provided by @Jeran, doing the factory reset is what's left. Click this link and follow the steps.
Best,
Dan
