Chromecast question before I buy one

All I want to do is cast hulu from my tablet to my tv. That's it. I want to make sure that's possible before I buy one. Was gonna get cast with google tv hd but I don't know if I need apps or what or is there a simpler maybe cheaper chromecast that will do that. That's literally all I want it for. Cast from tablet to tv- hulu. need answers asap lol thanks

If all you'd like to do is cast Hulu to your TV, Chromecast (3rd gen) will be absolutely fine for that purpose. You just need a phone or tablet that supports the latest Hulu app.

The newer Chromecast with Google TV HD or 4K versions allow you to install apps on the Chromecast itself and get personal recommendations based on your subscriptions, viewing history, and content that you own, all in one place. Those models also come with a remote to search with your voice.
