Chromecast recommendations all Indian

Happy new year all! I've just upgraded my Chromecast. All my tv and movie recommendations are for Indian productions. I've correctly set up my country and associated my apps, Netflix etc. I don't understand why there are no recommendations from my country. Any ideas?

Thanks for reaching out. Please take note that the Chromecast with Google TV devices aren't officially supported in India. You may still be able to set it up since it's a plug and play device, but some features might not work. I'd suggest you send feedback about this using the Google Home app. Here's how

Thank you for answering. I may not have explained myself. The recommendations are ONLY for Indian productions. But I live in New Zealand. I would like to see local recommendations. I have set my country to NZ. But all recommendations for anything from comedy, drama to horror and crime, are all Indian productions. How do I resolve this?

Hey there,

 

Thanks for the clarification. Could you please try to use a different Google Account or create a new Google Account then use it to set up the Chromecast with Google TV? Also, please take a look at this support website article to see more information about recommended videos on Google TV.

Thanks Jennifer but no, still only showing recommendations for the wrong country. 

 
I just don't look at the recommendations any more and go straight to the apps instead.
