Chromecast refuses to connect at 2nd step

Hi there; I moved and live in a different place now. My routers have different names now, but my Chromecast-Dongle cannot be convinced to work properly.

Yes, it is recognized as such, the Code displayed on it corresponds with the one I see when trying to install it, via Google Home, but when the moment comes to remember the password of the router (which now has a differnt name) the dongle and my Samsung S 21 both say it can't communicate. I'm working on it for 3 hours already but don't progress at all. Plugged/unplugged both the dongle and the router, it stops right before the end.
