Chromecast remote

My Chromecast remote does not work. Changed batteries. No light when trying to re-pair or factory reset the remote. 

I have had so many issues with my Chromecast this is so ridiculous.

Same here,

Bought a 'new' device (it seemslike it was send back).

Unfortunately I bought it in the states and took it to europe..

Any solutions?

  • When did this issue start happening?
  • What is the firmware version of your Chromecast?
  • How long ago did you purchase the Chromecast?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?

Dear Jeran,

Thank you for your reply.
The problem is fixed! In the end I got support with Google via Facebook.
They managed to give me an special reset-method which made re-connect the remote!
