Chromecast says it is connected to wifi, but then says it isnt on the same network as my phone

Sorry for the long subject line, I'm not sure what is going on here. I'm having an issue with my Chromecast with Google TV where it connects to my wifi network, but then says my phone is not connected to the same network. I've disconnected, restarted everything and haven't had any luck yet.

For reference, the LED light on my chromecast is solid white. I'm not sure if there are router settings that I need to change.

If you can turn off the 5ghz band on the wifi that will most likley solve your problem.

Oshjoshlax, how's it going? Do you still need help? If so, could you please tell us if this is an initial set up? What type of Chromecast device do you have? What's the make and model of the phone you're using to set up your device? In the meantime, reboot your Wi-Fi router and factory reset your Chromecast.
