Chromecast srt subtitles

Hello, 

I have problem with specials signs in Polish language subtitles ".srt." I see instead of them "?" "*".  How to solve IT?

• When did this issue start happening?
• Does this happen in every app with subtitles, or only one app?
• Is the Chromecast's firmware up-to-date?
• What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
