Chromecast tv 4k on smart tv horizon

Hello, I have a question before buying this device Chromecast tv 4k... Will it work with a Horizon smart tv 4k wich have HOS 3 Linux based?

I'm a little skeptical because on this smart tv I can not access HBO max and I can not connect any Android based phone by wireless display...

I apologize for the late response, and thank you for being patient! In case you didn't already have your question answered, all Chromecast devices require a TV with High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) 1.3 or higher built-in. HDCP 2.2 is required to support 4K content. Most televisions that are 5 years old or newer and have HDMI ports will have at least one port that supports HDCP 2.2. Most modern TVs should fall into this category.
