Chromecast tv no suggestion from Netflix

I'm using since a couples of week chromecast tv.  All works fine.

I can see content from all services I have an get sugestions for content and continue watching for stuff I not ready with from all apps besides Netflix.

I can access and use Netflix no problem.

I saw at the end of main page in chromecast there is an area for "manage apps" were I can activate apps to integrate so here of course Netflix is on/selected but in spite of the chromecast do not present any Netflix content suggestion or continuewatching.

Any suggestions?

Hi Rolkra,

 

Thanks for reaching out. Could you please try the steps below and let me know how it goes:

 

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Accounts and Sign In.
  3. Select the Google TV Account.
  4. Select Your services.
  5. Select the service to toggle it on (for example, Netflix or Amazon Prime Video) to allow Google TV to recommend shows and movies from that service.

Hi Jennifer,
That was done.. 
I have already selected both Netflix and Disney+ and I'm getting suggestions for Disney and other Apps I use but not for Netflix.
 
I see also in my android mobil app for netflix there is a setting for notifications  I have disabled there netflix notifications for my phone app. In Netflix app on chrome cast or in my TV  there is no such setting. Canselling notification in my phone app shouldn't affect as it is not the same kind of notifications... but jus a thought...

Hey there,

 

Thanks for getting back to us. Please try to clear the cache and data of the Netflix app then, reinstall it. Rebooting your Chromecast with Google TV (4K or HD) might also help.

 

If the issue persists, perform a factory reset on your device. Here's a guide: How to factory reset your Chromecast.
