Chromecast wifi speed drops massively when soundbar turned on

Hey guys, bit of a weird problem here so wondering if anyone has experienced the same/solved it. So whenever I turn my soundbar on, the Chromecast's wifi speed drops to like 0.1MB/s and whatever I'm streaming just stops and is basically useless. But as soon as I turn the soundbar off streaming starts back up again and wifi speeds return to normal.

Does your soundbar have wireless functions, such as wifi, Bluetooth, etc? If so it may be transmitting , probably at max power, and causing massive interference for your chromecast.   Suggestion would be to try to out some distance between the Chromecast and the soundbar if possible, or depending on your soundbar and setup you may be able to disable wifi /Bluetooth .

Connect the Chromecast device via gigabit ethernet adapter and use its WiFi connection only when strictly necessary.

This way, you have a stable internet connection for your Chromecast device and can use the soundbar in all connectivity scenarios.

Make sure you switch the Chromecast to non 5ghz wifi connection.

Chromecast can work great on GHz ... And if the soundbar has wifi it is probably 2.4 GHz , more chances for interference on the lower band.

That is false. My LG soundbar uses 5G and is next to my router. 5ghz gets degraded when the soundbar is in so I have to switch
