Chromecast with Google TV HDMI Issue

I have an HDMI sync issue occasionally when turning on or waking up my Chromecast with Google TV. The HDMI connection becomes unstable - the menu comes up, then flicker starts, followed by a blank screen or the multi-colored dots screen that happens when HDMI signal is lost. After a few cycles, the TV loses signal completely.

The problem is resolved by powering down the Chromecast and powering it back up.

TV = LG OLED65C7P-U

Any suggestions?

Can you try moving the Chromecast to another HDMI port and see if you can replicate the issue?  Also is the Chromecast plugged into a wall outlet for power or are you plugged into a usb port on the tv?

I will move the Chromecast tonight and check the behavior. I may need to use this port for ARC, but I'm not sure on that. The Chromecast is plugged into the wall with the provided AC adapter.

Thanks for the reply!

If you set up the remote to power your tv on and off, you may not need the ARC specific port any longer(although I kept mine in the arc port so I can control via voice.) This is just more of a test to see if it's the HDMI cable on the CC or if it's the port on the TV.

Nothing more at this time. I moved to a different HDMI input (HDMI3), and I have not seen the issue reoccur yet.
