Trying to setup my Chromecast through Google Home, after selecting my wifi its giving me Parent Permission Needed message.
Why is it asking this? I never used parental controls.

Have you tried factory resetting your Chromecast?

I tried factory reset and go through the set up but I got the same message again.

Sorry to hear the issue persists. Have you checked your Google Home to see if you have Parental Controls enabled? I know you said you didn't enable them, but it's worth checking.

AlexAltamirano, how's it going? Still need help with this? If so, please reinstall the Google Home app and reboot your mobile phone and Wi-Fi router. Using a different mobile phone might also help.
