Hello we are an Google education site with around 50 Chromecasts that teachers use to cast to the whiteboards using chromebooks, last week all of our Chromecasts stopped allowing casting with the message “you don’t have access to this service, to request access contact the administrator, I am the google admin for the site and have contacted support who have directed me here, can anybody shed some light on this. Thank you.
Thanks for posting. Quick questions — is this the first time you've encountered this? Also, have they tried to cast other content and check if they will receive the same message? If they are using a slide or a sheet and they cast it using the Chromecast, you could try to check the settings of the files they're using to see if it's accessible to everyone or not.
hello again, it’s an issue with our google admin panel or a setting there , the chromecasts cannot sign in with any accounts that use our organisations domain,I have logged in with a gmail account with no issue and able to cast. As we have almost 50 of them it’s an issue. Google workspace support have not been able to help as they do not support chromecast. Any ideas?

We hope you were able to get the help you need but if you're still having trouble, it's best to get in touch again with Google Workspace to assist you in configuring the settings in the account since the issue is with the account you use to sign in on your Chromecast or since it works with a regular Gmail account which is recommended to use with Chromecast, you may use it instead to get all the features that it can offer you.
