Chromecast

I bought my chromecast some months ago and i used it but forgot the remote somewhere else and now the chromecast has been resettled i have been looking for a way to set up the chromecast without a remote but i just can’t figure it out. I have also tried downloading apps to use but the chromecast must be connected to thesame wifi which the chromecast isn’t connected to anything yet. Can someone help me out

If your Chromecast isn't connected to Wifi, because it was reset, and you no longer have the remote, there is no other way to setup Chromecast than to get a new remote and pair that with your Chromecast I'm afraid. If it was still connected to Wifi, you could have used your phone to control it instead.

If it was still connected to Wifi, you could have used your phone to control it instead.
