My chromecast doesn't pick up my WiFi. How do I reset. In the home app, there aren't the options to forget the previous WiFi either. Unable to set up or stream. Home app won't communicate with it. Any suggestions?

I was also looking for an option to forget the current wifi connection and connect to a different one. I think the only way is to perform a factory reset.

Hi folks,
Sorry for the late response. Chromecast devices can only remember one Wi-Fi network at a time. If you change your Wi-Fi network and your device isn't currently connected to a Wi-Fi network, perform a factory reset and set up your Chromecast on the new network. You may check this support website article to learn more.
Let me know if you still need more help.
Thanks,
Jennifer
