Chromecast

I can cast my phone to it and the audio links perfectly, but there's a slight delay with the video on the TV. Is there a way to fix the delay?

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Chromecast Community! Let's sort this out.

 

A few questions: when did the issue start? What's the distance between the Chromecast, router, and mobile phone? Is the issue intermittent or constant?

 

Try these steps:

 

  1. Stop casting, then try to cast the same content again.
  2. Close and relaunch the app you're using, then try to cast the same content again.
  3. Exit any resource-intensive applications that may be running.
  4. Try decreasing the distance between TV, router, and mobile phone.
  5. Reboot your Chromecast, Wi-Fi router, and mobile phone
  6. Reset your Chromecast.
